About Us

our activities and our passions

Le Grenier features Industrial & Machine Age antiques with a mix of contemporary housewares, located in a lovingly restored building on the booming Greenpoint waterfront. We offer retail sales to the public as well as prop rentals for photo, film and special events.

Store owner Maya Marzolf, a former Producer of fashion photography, has embarked on this new venture which is informed by her enthusiasm for antiques, salvaged materials and "green" design. Her personal aesthetic was honed by working with top set designers while producing for industry greats such as Steven Meisel and Mark Seliger, and has proven invaluable in private residential design projects.

Le Grenier also aims to foster the work of local artists, including prints by Carla Osborn and a mural by Weston Woolley. Our large private garden, Le Jardin du Grenier, will be available for community events including poetry readings and wine tastings. Our inaugural garden event will take place on Friday May 28th 2009 and will feature an installation of outdoor ceramic sculpture by local artist Sebastian Trienens.
